MSPSN honored with 2008 CompTIA Industry Leadership Award

During the 2008 CompTIA Breakaway conference in Kissimmee Florida, MSPSN was honored to receive the 2008 Industry Leadership Award.

Omaha, Nebraska – August 7, 2008 - MSP Partners an alliance of over 20 leading IT vendors, in coordination with CompTIA (The Computing Technology Industry Association), recognized managed service providers  for industry excellence at the 2008 CompTIA Breakaway Conference.

MSP Partners presented their awards during the August 6thAwards Gala at CompTIA’s annual Breakaway conference.  Categories included:  Industry Leadership, Industry Best Practices, Industry Innovation and Managed Services Best in Class.  Recipients were chosen based on their demonstrated contribution to the overall growth and health of the managed services industry.

“It is an honor to receive this award from organizations such as MSP Partners and CompTIA,” says Amy Luby, CEO MSPSN and Winner of the 2008 Industry Leadership Award.  “In the last four years, MSPSN has provided leadership and guidance, along with a proven profitable road map to help over 400 VARs make the transition into a profitable Managed Services business model.  We are proud to be recognized for those efforts.”

In the last four years, MSPSN has provided the leadership and guidance, along with a proven profitable road map helping over 400 VARs make the transition into a profitable Managed Services business model.  In the beginning, MSPSN travelled nationally providing workshops and training for VARs all over the US, and served on numerous guest panels including SMB Nation and Microsoft World Wide Partner Conferences to help the SMB Channel evolve into a profitable Managed Services business model.  In June of 2007 MSPSN’s CEO, Amy Luby, was featured in the cover story of Redmond Channel Partner Magazine as being an innovator and leader in the evolution of developing profitable Managed Services solutions and developing a successful managed services business model.

In 2007, MSPSN launched their partner portal (www.mspsn.com) to provide a way for MSPs to collaborate all over the globe in real time.  MSPSN also went global in 2007 by acquiring over 100 partners in the UK, New Zealand, and Australia who are looking to MSPSN to provide a proven road map to profitable managed services.  MSPSN has created the infrastructure through their web portal to allow partners to collaborate and communicate in real time on building up their businesses.  MSPSN provides monthly training and support via the portal and through webinars, conference calls, and chats.  MSPSN works with the top MSP vendors and manufacturers in the Channel, such as Level Platforms, Trend Micro, and Reflexion to develop clear and profitable solutions for the small MSP and delivers those solutions to their partners every day.  In October of 2007 MSPSN launched their Virtual Service Desk to provide the backend support to their partners and provide a clear, profitable and sustainable services offering that their partners can deliver out to their end user base that allows their partners to go to market quickly and profitably.

MSPSN has “put their money where their mouth is” so to speak by showing their partners exactly how to deliver managed services based on the model that MSPSN built.  MSPSN delivers the tools, the education, and the business model itself out to its partners and boasts great results with their partner base.  Our partners are growing their client bases, adding employees, and growing their revenues exponentially by following MSPSN’s model in delivering Managed Services.

MSPSN also works hard to bring other individuals in the Channel together to provide “co-opetition” opportunities to enhance the Channel even more.  MSPSN is currently working with some of the most innovative leaders in the MSP space to deliver a conference event like no other in September 2008 (www.msprevolution.com).  “The more we can work together to provide a clear, proven, and profitable path to the Channel in evolving their business model, the better the whole Channel eco-system will be, says Amy Luby, CEO MSPSN.
