Wow! All I can say is Wow!

Wow!  All I can say is Wow!  I want to thank everyone who participated in the first ever MSP Revolution event put on by MSPSN.  We have received such great feedback from vendors and attendees that it’s been overwhelming.  I have pasted some of the comments I’ve received below.

I have to give a shout out to my staff.  What an incredible group we have here at MSPSN!  A special nod goes to Nancy Williams our director of Channel Development who made this event run fabulously smooth.  She had every detail managed and still found time to talk and be involved with all of us.  A special thanks to Chad Gross for taking the time to get our power point put together.  All I had to do was add some pictures to make it pretty.  Also, Jamie Jamison who is new to MSPSN was a huge help in getting all of the attendee materials ready.  Then, he volunteered to fly out to the Computer Troubleshooter's conference in Cleveland at the last minute to give a presenation there.  Rock on Jamie!  And, I certainly owe a big thank you to our NOC and Help Desk staff who kept everything running smoothly for all of us on the back end.  All of you played a big part in delivering one of the best conferences ever!

Some feedback: (also check out the SMB Managed Services yahoo group for more feedback there too)

"This was BY FAR the best investment I have made in my business since it's inception. I have been struggling with what was impacting our organization's profits and efficiency and couldn't in it down. We have been a managed service provider for over a year but were not seeing the high profits and time improvements the experts in the industry spoke of.  Within 24 hours of my arrival I had the solution to my problem. I have been able to walk away from this event with not only a plan to fix the very issues I've been struggling with for 2 years but several highly
valuable ideas for marketing and growing my business and a new understanding of how to plan and facilitate growth. Thank You!" Jeremy Roe

"I believe a new community has been created. A Community of partnerships and efficiencies. Where all of us is greater than each of us as individuals--and we utilize those resources and the client is better served. Where we all want to operate "in the black" (profits) -- but not "in the black" (Black tubes-over worked resources.)." Joel Simpson  (black tubes refer to the business simulation experience)

Nancy,

I am now back in the UK, unfortunately!!  So firstly I wanted to say a big   thank you for arranging the MSP Revolution event, the location, venue and food was just fantastic and very well organised. It literally is the best event I have ever been to.

Having come from the UK, I really hoped that this event would be worth it and cost effective for me, and it has more than exceeded my expectation.  The game on the first day, was simply outstanding and “out of this world” ,  I learnt so much from the game and while we were playing it something went click, and I finally realised where I was going wrong in my business. Not sure where you found out about the game, but you did a brilliant job..

The mix of speakers was simply brilliant,  I have got to meet the people I hear about all the time and hear all about how they have built their businesses successfully. Also the relationship I have built with my peers (albeit from a different country) was great because I have been able to build  some strategic business relationships and more importantly friendships and we all need those in business.

Of course I could not leave out the vendors.. What a great mix, I have spoken to almost every one of them and will be using a lot of their services, if I don’t already have that service or if I am using a competitive product.

For the type and scale of the event, I am really surprised at how low the cost was.. in fact it was way too low.. You could easily charge $1000.00 - $1500.00 for the event.  The knowledge gained from it is worth much more than $1000.00

If you ever bring this show to the UK, let me know and I will  be your biggest advocate, I do whatever it takes to make it as successful here, as it was there. “ Chris Timm
